ROA CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES is a young Christian organisation started by Richard Owusu-Ansah. Based in Stratford London, ROA welcomes all to worship in a young, friendly Christian atmosphere.
Task & Final outcome:
• Develop a unique logo that represents a new and youthful ministry. A logo that can work for both web/print and gives a friendly/positive identity.
• Flyer design for events, print and social media
• Book cover and layout
One of the most important aspect working on the identity for ROA was to have a logo that represents youth but in a professional manor. From my research, many afro-Caribbean churches/organisations have logos design that visually stood out in the wrong way. Many had multi colour designs and bad font choices. My aim was to simply set way this and create a simple looking design, a design that could be easy to identity, represent a modern look and needs no adjusting for web and print. We initially had the intention to use a Dove as the symbol/icon, because it signified love, hope, peace, and friendship. A well-rounded typeface also boosted the positive look.

The beauty therapy project
Founded in 2015, the Beauty Therapy Project is a network that seeks to correct the idea of what it means to be beautiful. The project delivers emotional intelligence education for young women aged 16-30 years through group workshops and online resources. Their mission is to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of women across the UK and worldwide. My role was to develop the logo/branding and assist getting The beauty Therapy project a social media presence.
